Xunzhou Star Hospital

Xuzhou Star Hospital is a specialised women and children’s hospital, backed by Fosun Health, that provides dependable care across maternity, pediatric, and neonatology services. Its clinical teams include neonatal specialists trained in critical‑care management, especially for complex newborn conditions like bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).

The facility covers a floor area of 26,000 square meters and was approved as one of the city's first certified clinical-grade, integrated maternity, delivery, and parenting educational children’s rehabilitation facilities in 2025. With 200 beds and operating across different departments, the hospital has become a symbol of reliability and trust.

Besides China, Xunzhou Star has emerged as a leader in neonatal critical care in other countries as well. In July 2025, the hospital established in-depth collaborations with medical teams from Bangladesh and Indonesia, positioning itself as a node institution for the Belt and Road Initiative medical resource-sharing. 

The reason this is so groundbreaking is that it allows knowledge exchange, shared treatment protocols, and joint patient management, allowing Bangladeshi families to access advanced neonatal care and benefit from the hospital’s expertise in managing complex newborn conditions.

The hospital emphasises progression of care with 20 leading experts, supporting both in‑hospital intensive treatment and a combined online/offline management model for BPD infants, helping families manage care even after discharge.
